Description
The BC45 Control Plate is set at 45° to follow the contour of the tongue. If a horse pushes against the bit with its tongue, the plate encourages it to draw back and tuck the chin in. Unlike a Dr Bristol, the plate doesn’t sit with its edge on the tongue. The eggbutt loose rings stop lip pinching and feel slightly more solid against the face, while keeping the quick release of a loose ring. The Petros mouthpieces rotate, which makes it harder for the horse to take hold of the bit.
